Khao Sok National Park is located in Southern Thailand, is in Surat Thani Province. Its area is 739 square kilometres and it includes the 165 square kilometres Cheow Larn Lake contained by the Rajjaprabha Dam.

The park is the largest area of virgin forest in southern Thailand and is a remnant of rain forest which is older and diverse.

It is covered evergreen rainforest, huge limestone mountains, deep valleys, breathtaking lakes, waterfalls, exciting caves and wild animals.

This mountain range is hit by monsoon rain coming from both the Gulf of Thailand and the Andaman Sea, which makes it among Thailand's wettest regions.

One of the most interesting areas is Cheow Larn Lake(Khao Sok lake) in the heart of Khao Sok National Park. It is a fantastic place to go on vacation.

Various activities for tourists who like adventure or water activities such as trekking, river canoeing and a boat tour to Cheow Lan lake(Khao Sok lake), Khao Sok lake is a great place for canoeing and swimming.

Impressive caves are around Khao Sok Lake, Limestone hills, Waterfalls and Wildlife watching.

Khao Sok Lake(Also called Cheow Larn Lake or Rajjaprabha Dam) : Tourists can have a scenic view of Rajjaprabha Dam. The lake attracts tourists every year. It has been called "Guilin of Thailand". Tourists can use long-tailed boats to see the beautiful limestone hills or to make a trekking to visit Cave.

Nam Talu Cave : Visit to the Nam Talu Cave to see its stalagmites and stalactites. The cave is very dangerous on rainy days.

Diamond Cave : Impressive stalagmites and stalactites and home to bats.

Other interesting : Wing Hin Waterfall, Bang Hua Rat Waterfall and Bang Liap Nam Waterfall

Khao Sok National Park is one of the best destinations in Thailand and one of the best national parks in Thailand.

Open Daily : 08.00 - 17.00.

Entrance Fees :

For Foreigners - 150 Thai Baht for children and 300 Thai Baht for adults.
