Description

- Sirindhorn Museum, Kalasin Province Thailand was formerly called Phu Kum Khao Fossil Research Center. It has been operated since 1995 to serve as the fossil research center and exhibition of dinosaur fossils and contemporary living things.

- In 1978, a geological survey team led by Mr. Warawut Sutreetorn found the fossils kept by Phra Khru Wichit Sahatsakhun, an abbot of Sakkawan Temple in 1994. 

- The aim is to provide visitors with related information. Currently, there are 200,000-300,000 visitors a year. 

- The building is divided into three zones including : 

  Zone 1: The Beginning of the World 

  Zone 2: The Beginning of Living Things, Dinosaurs, and Humans 

  Zone 3: Traveling Exhibition
